Children's Center First in Hopkins Development Plans - The new center is a joint effort of Hopkins, Eudowood Hospital, the Garrett Fund and Harriet Lane Home and will cost $11,000,000 to construct. Hospital Appoints New Records Director - The position of director of medical records will be filled by Miss Ann M. Ball, who held the same poition at Memorial Hospital at the University of North Carolina. (page 2)
Schwentker Award Papers Due April 1 - The award of $100 is given for a paper exhibiting the most original medical investigation by a member of the resident staff. (page 2)
Scholarships Honor Dr. E. A. Park at 80 - The $65,000 endowment called The Edwards A. Park Scholarship Fund will provide nearly three full-tuition scholarships annually. Dr. Park is professor emeritus of pediatrics. (page 3)
Rockefeller Makes Half-Million Biophysics Grant - The Rockefeller Foundation grant will be used by both the Homewood and Medical Institutions. (page 3)
New Phipps Unit Attracts National Interest - The new psyciatric day care center is unique in the United States, has gained national recognition and is supervised by Dr. William D. Wheat. (page 3)
