The John R. Carr Collection contains notes on William H. Welch’s pathology lectures taken by Carr from January- June 1902. Inside of the notebook there are musings on love, virtue, procreation and marriage, along with a signed reprint of “The Nature of Discovery” by Alfred Blalock to James McFarland. Carr’s correspondence with John Jacob Abel, Adolf Meyer, William H. Welch and Hugh Hampton Young can be found in their respective collections.
