This collection holds the records of the Evening College and the School of Continuing Studies Nursing Education Programs. These programs were the successors to the McCoy Evening College and the precursors to the Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing. The education programs were created to give registered nurses the opportunity to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. The records contain student records and the records of two administrators, Margaret Courtney and Martha N. Hill. They focus on the period 1977-1985, at which time the Nursing Education Program was phased out to make way for the opening of the University School of Nursing.
