Jennie Sulli Mason

Jennie Sulli Mason was born in Schuylerville, New York. She received her nursing diploma from Johns Hopkins Hospital Training School for Nurses in 1934. From 1937 to 1942 she worked in venereal disease research at the Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health. She continued this research at the Johns Hopkins Hospital from 1942 to 1951. She was a school nurse at various Baltimore area private schools from 1960 to 1978. She was president of the Johns Hopkins Nurses Alumnae Association. Her career was centered on public health research and work.
