Records of Johns Bloomberg School Public Health document the founding, governance and executive leadership of the school from its inception to today. They include minutes of the school's Advisory Board, Office of Dean correspondence and financial records. There are records pertaining to public health education, research, student life, as well as the school’s academic departments and laboratories, and publications. They also document still photos of buildings, group and portrait photographs of faculty, staff, students and alumni, oral histories, and moving images. In addition, the Archive includes the business correspondence of The American Journal of Hygiene which William Welch launched in 1920.
